Glossier’s Newest Fragrance Is Designed to Smell Like Your Skin—But Better

Glossier is arguably one of the pioneers in this space, catapulting the “skin scents” category into cult status with its now-iconic Glossier You back in 2017. This shiny new addition to the brand’s frag lineup puts a light and bright spin on the original, and the inspiration behind it is skin's own scent.
This “luminous floral blend” opens with a delicious and intriguing mineral salt accord at the top, and in the middle features a soft and subtle fusion of sweet and fruity osmanthus, ylang ylang, apricot skin and cashmeran. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Glossier fragrance unless your own skin chemistry came into play. “Fleur is a skin-scent enhancer that wears close to the skin and true to you, never overpowering your unique scent—because you are the final ingredient," the brand says.
A fragrance that is inspired by skin's own scent might sound strange, but once sprayed it’s a soft, floral scent that’s airy, fresh, and subtle enough to wear year-round. You can wear it alone, but this is one of those fragrances that layers nicely—either with the other three fragrances in Glossier’s You lineup, or even with your own fave lotions, body sprays, or EDPs.
