Sipping on this cherry pie cocktail might just fool you into thinking you're indulging in a real slice of sweet cherry pie a la mode.
Ingredients
cherry juice or maple syrup, for the rim
1 whole graham cracker, crushed, for the rim
1-1/2 ounces rumchata liqueur
1/2 ounce maple syrup
1-1/2 ounces tart cherry juice
1-1/2 ounces mcgillicuddy’s cherry liqueur
ice cubes
maraschino cherries, for garnish
Directions
Moisten the edge of a rocks glass with cherry juice or maple syrup. Dip the rim of the glass into the graham cracker crumbs; set aside.
In a cocktail shaker, combine RumChata and maple syrup. Stir vigorously with a cocktail spoon or whisk until the mixture is emulsified. Add tart cherry juice and cherry liqueur; stir to combine.
Fill the prepared glass with ice; pour the cocktail mixture into the glass. Garnish with maraschino cherries. Serve immediately.
