This is the most amazing and easy banana bread. It has been in my family for years and anytime I make it people beg for the recipe. It is so moist, sweet, and delicious. Enjoy!!
Ingredients
1 cup unsifted, all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon table salt
1 cup mashed, ripe banana (about 2 bananas)
2/3 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup water
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat oven to 350° F and spray baking pan with non-stick spray
Stir together the flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl
Add in the mashed banana, mayonnaise, water, and vanilla. Beat ingredients together with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
Bake at 350° for 45 minutes- 1 hour until golden brown. A toothpick should come out clean. Eat right away or freeze up to 3 months
