A Scandinavian-style creamy sauce made with sour cream, lemon, and caviar. Elegant and tangy, often served cold over poached or chilled salmon.
Ingredients
1 cup sour cream
1 (8 ounce) container creme fraiche
1/2 cup mayonnaise
4 tablespoons chopped fresh dill 1 pinch white pepper
3 1/2 ounces red lumpfish caviar
Directions
In a bowl, stir together sour cream, creme fraiche, mayonnaise, dill, and white pepper. Carefully mix in caviar. Cover, and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
